“Suffering Too Much in This Country” _ Dan Dizzy Cries Out Over Rising Street Begging in Nigeria

Nigerian rapper Dan Dizzy has opened up about the harsh realities on the streets, saying he has never seen Nigerians suffer this much before.

Taking to social media, the music star shared how the rate of begging in the country has become overwhelming. According to him, no matter where he goes these days, people are constantly begging for help — some politely, others desperately following people around just to ask for money.

In his words:

“I swear, I don’t think we’ve ever had it this bad before in Nigeria. I literally can’t step out without people begging for money. Some will even follow you. People are really suffering out here.”

Dan Dizzy’s post quickly got people talking, with many agreeing that the level of hardship has reached a new high. Some fans shared their own experiences, saying it’s now almost impossible to drive through any Nigerian city without encountering groups of beggars.

It’s a painful reality for many, as inflation, unemployment, and poverty continue to weigh heavily on citizens. Some social media users called on the government to urgently address the growing crisis before things get out of hand.

What do you think about this? Have you noticed this situation too? Is it the same in your area? Drop your thoughts in the comments. Nigerians, how are you coping these days?
