Peter Okoye Finally Confirms PSquare Is Over, Says Judeboy and Rudeboy Are the New JP Square

Looks like fans waiting for a PSquare reunion might have to forget it for good. Peter Okoye has openly confirmed that PSquare is officially over, and a new name has taken their place.

The popular singer made this known while replying to a fan on social media. The fan had commented, “There will be nothing like PSquare forever — there’s a time for everything.” And Peter didn’t waste time replying.

He wrote:

Exactly! Judeboy and Rudeboy… that’s your new JP Square. You people should manage them. It’s their time now. Me, I dey on my own, running my race. I am my own Square.”

The comment quickly caught attention online, with people reacting differently. Some fans hailed Peter for being bold about his decision to stay solo, while others felt it was uncalled for. Some even blamed family issues and pride for the brothers’ split.

Let’s not forget that PSquare, made up of Peter and Paul Okoye, ruled the music scene for years, dropping hit after hit and performing across Africa and beyond. But after their breakup years ago, both brothers went their separate ways. Though they later reconciled in 2021, this latest statement from Peter shows that things might never be the same again.

Now, Peter is running his solo career as Mr P, while Paul, known as Rudeboy, is still active in music. Jude Okoye, their elder brother, who managed PSquare back then, is still in the picture too.

Splendor’s fam, what’s your take on this? Would you love to see Judeboy and Rudeboy as the new JP Square, or do you still miss the PSquare vibe? Drop your thoughts!
