Nollywood actor Godwin Nnadiekwe has been hospitalized with internal bleeding after being kicked in the chest by fellow actor Zubby Michael during a film shoot. The incident, which occurred earlier this week, was not part of the scripted action and was not directed by the filmmaker. Nnadiekwe shared details of the event on Instagram, emphasizing the need for stricter safety protocols on set.
A video of the incident which was posted on Godwin’s page, showing Zubby Michael delivering the kick that led to Nnadiekwe’s hospitalization. In his Instagram post, Nnadiekwe expressed concern over the lack of medical support during the shoot and called for greater accountability in Nollywood productions.
As of now, Zubby Michael has not publicly commented on the incident.
